Pretty easy to do.<br /><br />As for software to ignore it, I don't believe the XT supports that. The Rebel xti has a function that if you activate it, teaches the sensor to ignore persistent spots like that.<BR/><BR/>Also imagine that scene on the mighty MacKenzie just down the road from you.
