All free courtesy of wal Mart.

I went to wal Mart today and walked out with all of this for free. No, I did not steal it. I price matched the Kraft dinner to super store where it was on sale for .50 each and then I had 4 coupons for buy 2 save 1.00. I then had 3 coupons for the scrubbing bubbles (save 4.00 when you buy 2) and they were on sale for 2.00 each. Lastly I had 2 coupons for the ziplock bags which were save 2.00 when you buy 2 and they were on sale for 1.00 each. See?  All free.

365 photo challenge. My boys.

Day 1. Something that makes me happy.

Hello 2014

Here we are at 2014. I am not one for New Years resolutions, but I do have some things I plan on changing.

First thing, I need to let go of those things  and people I can't change. I have been trying to keep people in my life who are not putting the effort that I am. I have often been accused of being too nice and maybe I am. I like to think people are genuinely good, but the truth of the matter is some people are not. I have decided to let them go. Should they contact me, I will be more then happy to spend time with them, but I am done chasing.

2013 was a great year for me. For the first time in my married life I went on a vacation all by myself. I met the most amazing women and travelled through the Yukon. I have a permanent reminder of the trip on my left arm.

I also welcomed a new member to our family. Our niece Gabby was born this year, rounding out moms grandchildren to 5.

Colby left elementary school and overnight seemed to turn into a teenager. He is at least 5 inches taller and doing very well in junior high French immersion. Joey is doing very well in grade 2 and is still quite the social butterfly.

Rob and I both changed jobs this year. Rob started a job with a small construction company based here in beaver bank and he is happier than I have ever seen him in a very long time at work.

2014 is going to be a great year for us. I plan to take more pictures, as that is something I have seriously lost my passion for. I need to find a way to rekindle this.  My fantastic amazing friend and her family are coming to visit Nova Scotia in October and we are going to spend the weekend with them.

I always say this and maybe this time I will mean it. I plan to blog more. Maybe I will change the theme of the blog to couponing. Hmm.... I can teach you all to coupon. As much as rob likes to torment me about couponing I get the last laugh when the store actually pays me to buy things from the store. I also plan to donate to the food banks more. There are many sales that end up giving you products for free (next week Kraft dinner with coupons will be absolutely free). I will get what I think we can use here, and them get more to donate. Would you read more if this was about couponing?
