Goodbye to a dear friend

Today I said goodbye to someone who has been in my life for the past year. It was fate that brought us together, and even though we started off roughly, we developed a great relationship over the last year. Unfortunately, like all good things, our time together has come to an end. Maybe I'll see her again someday in passing. I know she's gone to a good home where she will be well cared for and loved.
