Let there be Light!

I know we have only been here a short while, but I don't think I will ever get tired of the Northern Lights.
Out playing around with the camera Sunday night. I wish the lights would come out a bit earlier! I took these photos at midnight.

I like that second one! If you have any questions about the camera etc you should ask B, she'd love to help I'm sure - but she is swamped the next 2 weeks.

Great shots. They remind me of my time in Fort Smith. We don't get the Northern Lights here in Arctic Bay like they experience in the NWT so I'm very jealous.

The lights are pretty cool, but GR neglected to discuss the "almost" part with me. I wouldn't hold your breath.

GREAT SHOTS!!! I had heard they are great in the territories but that is simply fantastic. I know what you mean about never getting tired of them too. I still look out the window every clear night, even after five years. If they are active, I suit up and head out. Out of curiosity, what equipment are you using?

We use a Canon Rebel XT. Rob is the guy who does all these shots and plays with the settings. He's amazing with this, as you can tell.
