Disturbing

I am becoming quite an active member in GPAC, or Greyhound Pets of Atlantic Canada. I am forever reading and posting on their chat board, and someone mentioned feeding their grey Iams. Well, let me tell you I'll never buy it. I did not know the history of Iams, but they do all their testing for their products on animals. There was a big undercover report that was done showing exactly how these animals were treated. I was physically sick to my stomach watching this. If you dare, the website is http://www.iamscruelty.com/, but honestly, I warn you, it's gruesome.

I didn't even know you had a greyhound - I think that's fantastic of you rescuse one (assuming you did, but I figure that's how most people come to own one)

Well, this is a great first comment here. :)

I've sworn off all Iams food for pets but for different reasons. (I didn't know about their testing policies) When I first got a hedgehog and was doing the reading there were big warnings everywhere that Iams KILLS them within a year, not the mark of quality. We used to feed the cats Iams weight loss but the low grade garbage in them continually had one of them with urinary tract issues. No thank you.

Gord, welcome! I must admit I was well.. shocked to see you comment! But pleasantly surprised! Hope to keep seeing you here!

Jody, yes, we did rescue the beast. heheh. He was a racer from CT, but now he's a big 80lb cat with personality!
