I have just watched a documentary called "Little Man", about a lesbian couple who's son is born at 25 weeks. 100 days premature. It follows what they go through, from the NICU, to bringing him home at 158 days, the first time they hold him, (she held him 2x in his first 32 days of life), the strain it put on their relationship, and the physical and mental problems he incurrs due to his prematurity. It's quite an eye opener, and heart wrenching at the same time. It's worth watching. Just don't be like me and forget the tissues. You'll need the entire box. All they kept saying to him through the entire process is "just eat and breathe".
