Our perspectives

Joey loves the Doodlebops. If you don't have kids or spend any time around them, or just lost the remote and were too lazy to change the channel, this will make no sense to you. This show comes on at 7:30 at which time I have not had my first coffee. They are so sugary sweet it's almost sickening. The only thing that gets me through sitting with Joe watching this over and over (thanks to satellite TV it's on 4 times during the morning) is knowing what "Rooney" looks like under all that blue make-up. :)

Thanks alot Tina, now I'll have "we're the doodlebops, we're the doodlebops, and we thank you yah yaaaa" in my head alllll day.

It's on right before my lunchtime Martha show, so if I sneak off to warm up my eats a little ahead of noon... they are my punishment.

But I had no idea the blue guy was such a looker!

Yea, but at 07.30 in the morning not even those good looks could make up for that inane song! Or,maybe... ;)

When my son grew up, Sesame Street was THE childrens program and the Swedish Chef used to drive me totally nuts! I know his accent was a parody of Swedish but I didn't think it was all that good. Now I kind of like it...

My boys were both affected by the Blues Clues rage. I still know the words to that damned song and about 50% of the episodes too! Geez, now I am liable to have nightmares about all this...

Helloooo "Rooney"!

Although I don't have any kiddies yet I did babysit alot during my high school and university days ... and was tortured endlessly with Caillou. (I can still hear that piercing voice of Caillou in my head) *shudder*

ummmm he is really hot!!

I have only watched a bit of kids tv up in Kug while watching a friends kid. It was so irritating!!! So far Hunter hasn't watched any tv other than when we were in Kug and I was boobing him and watching tv at the same time. I dread when the cartoon watching starts!!!

Tina, You are too funny! I shudder at the horrors I will be watching when I have kiddies. Have you ever seen 4 square? Now I cant stand the part of that where "pipette" is calling out orders to the others, their all wearing blue tights and super annoying.

Ok, eye Candy be damned...He still sounds like he hasn't hit puberty yet. Imagine him saying this, "Do you know what would look good on you? Me!"

LOL Rob. Let us have our eye candy! :-)

erg...Four Square makes me twitch. The Doodlebops runs a close second. I often wonder why I got digital cable when all I watch is treehouse. Ah well...it could be Barney.

My son loved the doodlebops last year - now we're into Mighty Machines - he loved Moe the best, though I often wondered if he was the best influence...all that running in jumping.
