Joey and Bree at some point switched hats, and as you can see Joey did not want to switch back.
This shot turned out better in my head.
I have no idea what type of bird this was, but it was very brave. It came really close to check us out.
How many men does it take to light a fire??
I just loved this shot.
He finally played in the water, 2 hours after we got there.
This is one of my favorite pictures. It just screams "summer fun"This crazy, crazy showing off bird.
This is an island about 10 minutes from here. Friends of ours have access to a boat and took us there for the morning. The island is just a big beach and very secluded. We all had a great time. Have I mentioned how much I love it here?

Maybe a crane or heron?? Very brave indeed!
Is Rob at all concerned about Joey's preference for a flowery head covering? ;)
I love the guys all staring down at the fire. They remind me of a bunch of road workers where 7 of them are watching 1 guy work--LOL.
It's a great blue heron. You saw one just weeks ago already. :)
That is by far the biggest Heron I have never seen. I'm sure it was taller than Joey.
I love all the pictures, you should frame the one of Joey getting into the water. BTW, I am so glad the t-shirt fits!!!
We sometimes get to see the great blue heron at the camp. It's pretty cool to watch them fish. Love the pics!
That is one of his favorite shirts Val!
hehehe the hat switching is adorable!
Can I borrow Joey? I need me a grandchild...
I know it's probably a crazy question to hear, but how warm would the water and air average up there in the summer??
