Look what we saw!

We had heard that the Northern Lights were not as good here as they are the higher North. This was taken last night by Rob. They look just as good here as they did up there!

awesome photo!
you should keep an eye open over the next couple of nights, as the forcast is for higher aurora activity... you should easily see them from just below 63! weather permitting of course - it doesn't seem it is going to co-operate for us though - threatening stormy skies are looming (just north of 54) A friend got great photo's from here on the 9th August - so bright and strong!
Good luck aurora hunting : )

Unfortunately we are not "Just below 63" anymore, we are more like "Just Below 55"

We amazingly saw them here last year. At first I had no idea what it was and called out the boys. Then my genius son rolled his eyes at me and gave me that "mom you are soooo stupid" look and told me it was the northern lights...what do I know, I am just a midwest girl!
