The week in review

This is the truck we rented last week when we had our fixed. I had originally booked the smallest car they had, a Focus, and she upgraded us to the Explorer for free! It was beautiful, and we are both in love with it.

This is the first spot check I have seen since we moved here. This is a "controlled" community, not dry but close to it. If the cops feel you have too much alcohol in your car, they have the right to take it. When we passed, she had a bag on the ground! I guess this is common for the Friday of payday.

Mr. Man writing his own "Santa" letter.

This is Deuce, Connie's dog. As you can tell, Joey loves him!

This was Friday morning. The snow is gone now, but as you can see, Colby was not the only person excited to see it!

The Muppets are in town!

When we went to Yellowknife on Friday, we went to Pizza Hut for lunch. The table behind us was a bunch of Mounties in full uniform, including these super cool hats. (Jen, does your hubby have one?) Joey was so amazed with the hat, that the officer put it on his head!

Oh yeah, but it looks much better on Joey! I think they look at little too GQ on the officers. LOL

That smile on Joey is huge!! and adorable.
And I see that Colby is using the wishbook there. I used to look so forward to that book arriving in the mail as a kid to do the same thing! Have you ever mailed it to the Santa address? I have always wondered if you really do get a response letter!

Dusty: I guess I left out the smiley-face. I do have a spare plate, but I think my Dad would kill me if it didn't go to him first! So unless your bid is in the thousands....just kidding!
