Just for Dad

Today my Dad would have been 56. So, in memory of him we started a new tradition. Every year starting this year, we will celebrate January 31st with deep fried fish and chips, with Dad's batter on the fish of course. And, in true Dad style, we rounded out this very heavy meal with lemon tarts and whip cream.

Tina...I guess I hadn't realized your dad was so young!

So is Dad's batter a secret or would he let you share;)?

I'm thinking when the kids get older that you should open a restaurant. Your meals look very appetizing.

What a lovely way to celebrate your dad's day. In his honour. If I have to think of a meal to celebrate my dad, it would be amazing ham and cheese sandwiches but with french bread. Your son is ever so cute with the whip cream...
